Economist, graduate from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Business Administration)

He worked from the third year of his studies, in accounting departments of large companies, until his appointment to the Ministry of Finance in 1987. He has served as:

• Member of the Central Administration of the Economic Chamber of Greece
• Vice President for ten years, at the Professional Insurance Treasury Fund of the Ministry of Finance
• Coordinator in the Department of Economic Affairs of SYRIZA in tax policy issues.
• Representative (for many years) of SYNASPISMOS to the Dialogue Committees of the Ministry of Finance for taxation issues
• Scientific partner of the Parliamentary Group of SYNASPISMOS
• Vice President of the General Council of the Federation of Tax Officers and President of the Association of Tax Officers of Attica and Cyclades

He was appointed as the Alternate Minister of Finance on 18.07.2015, on 28.08.2015 (Caretaker Government) and on 23.09.2015.
