George Xiradakis is a graduate from the Nautical Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos-Athens and he holds a diploma in Commercial Operations from City of London Polytechnic and an MSc in Maritime Studies from University of Wales. He served as Senior Banker in International and Greek Banks. In 1999 he founded XRTC Business Consultants Ltd , which acts as Financial and Investment advisor to National and International institutions who wish to develop business in Greek shipping.
He is actively involved in Greek shipping cluster as member of many Greek and International Organizations. He is Vice President of the International Propeller Club of the United States, General Secretary of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping, Emeritus President of the Propeller Club-Piraeus, Vice President of the Hellenic Chinese Chamber & The Greek Chinese Association, Emeritus member of PCCI etc. In May 2019 he participated in the European elections.
