Mr. George A.Gratsos is President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Union of Greek Shipowners and President of the Maritime Safety and Marine Environment Protection Committee of the UGS and on the Board of Directors of HELMEPA.

He is a shipowner and a Naval Architect with a degree from MIT and a Ph.D. from the University of the Aegean on Freight Markets Dynamics. He holds and has held various national and international shipping industry positions.
