Born in 1994, Katerina Bodouroglou completed her secondary education in Athens before moving to the U.K. to pursue a degree at the University of Cambridge. In June 2016, she graduated with a BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences. Upon graduation, she received the ‘Dr. David Ritchie Ives Award’ and the ‘Academic Exhibition Award 2016’ for her academic performance. Whilst at school, she was a member of the Greek National Debate Team and excelled at public speaking championships in Istanbul, Lviv, Dundee and Cape Town.

Having previously interned at a NY-based Investor Relations Firm, an Athenian Film Distribution Company and having assisted with the electoral campaign of a Member of the European Parliament, Katerina had never considered a career in shipping until recently, when she completed a rotation scheme at Allseas Marine SA. She is currently interning at Clarksons Shipping, and over the next months will continue her immersion in the shipping industry at Latsco’s offices in both London and Athens.
