Panos Laskaridis

He was born in 1947, in Athens. He is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from Brunschweig Polytectical School, Germany. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Science from King’s College, University of London, a Diploma and a Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture from University College, University of London. He is the founder in 1977 and since the CEO of Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. and Lavinia Corporation.

Panagiotis Laskaridis, among others, is a Fellow at the Institute of Marine Engineers (U.K.), Institute of Mechanical Engineers (U.K.), Royal Institution of Naval Architects (U.K.), Member, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (USA), President, “Aikaterini Laskaridis” Foundation, Secretary General, Union of Greek Shipowners, Vice-President, Hellenic Maritime Museum. He is, also, a Member at Bureau Veritas Hellenic Committee (French RS), Hellenic Committee of Lloyds Register of Ships (English RS), Hellenic Committee of NKK-Tokyo (Japan RS), and President of the Hellenic Committee of German Register of Shipping, respectively.
